this allows up to an additional 50 feet for a total of 75 feet to locate your radio making it a lot easier to place the radio where you want it. This is a great solution when your satellite radio cannot be located within the 25 feet that comes with the regular antenna.

The extension kit seems to be a higher-quality cable than what came with the original Sirius antenna. I have an adjacent building at five stories and was blocking the signal. Very satisfied. The extension cable was exactly what I was looking for. I hooked up the Sirius antenna with the cable that came with the unit, but it was way too short to extend on my roof.
You'll need it if you're doing any type of professional looking hidden install. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you guy a Terk Outdoor SAT radio antenna for your house, get this extension kit.
I attached it to my ridge vent with liquid nail. I did hide the connection under the eave and have had no trouble with it. I had zero connectivity prior to installing this antenna, now I have excellent reception. It runs from the stereo into the cold air return, through the crawl space, out a vent in the foundation, up the downspout, up to the peak of my roof.
